The Data Security Company, today announced a major new version
of its leading signature application product. SafeGuard
SignatureServer is a central, easy-to-use solution for the simple
and automatic mass generation of qualified electronic signatures
needed to send electronic invoices. Enhancements to SafeGuard
SignatureServer
2.1 provide organizations with new levels of scalability,
flexibility and integration capabilities to streamline the
cumbersome and time-consuming signature management processes.
Electronic invoicing management saves time and
money
Every year, billions of invoices are created electronically,
printed to be sent by mail and then entered into ERP system for
verification and payment authorization. As a result, organizations
are eager to adopt electronic invoicing management procedures to
save time and money, but these processes must be implemented in a
secure manner and in accordance with legal requirements by
leveraging qualified digital signatures. This way organizations
optimize their business processes and can make their pre-tax (sales
tax) calculations valid immediately.
Highly scalable SafeGuard SignatureServer 2.1 improves
automatic signing processes
New enhancements available in SafeGuard SignatureServer offer
functions for automatically time stamping, verifying, encrypting
and sending of signed documents. Several processes can be run in
parallel for different types of documents, including electronic
invoicing and legally compliant electronic billing, long term
archiving including traceability of document integrity, and
automatic signing of research analysis, laboratory results and/or
clinical trial reports.
Customers can now easily administer mass electronic signatures
through a simple and convenient user interface. The new version of
SafeGuard SignatureServer also provides unparalleled levels of
scalability allowing the system to grow as the customer's signing
requirements increase even to the level of millions of signatures.
SafeGuard SignatureServer easily integrates into existing IT
infrastructures via file based directories, an Application
Programming Interface (API) or connectors (e.g. email).
"The use of qualified electronic signatures increases with the
growing number of legal and internal regulation," states Dieter
Bong - Product Manager at Utimaco. "With the next generation of
SafeGuard SignatureServer, we offer our customers a unique product
for automatic creation of qualified electronic signatures for all
