Sophos will be giving visitors to its booth a free copy of the 'NAC
for Dummies' guide.
Sophos, a world leader in IT security and control, will be
exhibiting its products and giving expert presentations on its
booth at the Infosecurity Europe 2008 show in London this week.
Sophos will be giving visitors the opportuntity to experience at
first hand its products which are designed to secure business
networks against malware, spyware, spam, hackers and unauthorized
access. In addition, an industry panel including experts from
Microsoft, GetSafeOnline and the Computer Crime Unit will be
answering delegates' questions from the booth.
Infosec attendees will also be able to see Sophos's newly
released Endpoint
Security and Control 8.0 product in operation.
Furthermore, Sophos security and control experts Paul Ducklin,
Vanja Svajcer, Mark Harris, Richard Jacobs and Graham Cluley will
be tackling the technical subjects of malware, phishing, spam and
NAC in regular presentations at booth F130 at the Grand Hall in
Olympia.

course of the three day event. Senior security consultant Carole Theriault will be
hosting the on-booth interviews, discussing issues with Sophos's
resident experts, and giving visitors a platform to get their own
questions answered.

Pacific, Paul
Ducklin.
"Squabble in the security sandbox: Mac vs PC" with senior
technology consultant Graham Cluley.
Industry expert panel
At 15.30 on Wednesday 23 April, Sophos will be hosting an
industry panel on its booth, with attendees invited to pose
questions to experts from Microsoft, GetSafeOnline, Sunbelt
Software, and the Computer Crime Unit about all aspects of internet
security and the fight against malicious hackers.
This panel is likely to be highly popular, and Infosec attendees
are recommended to make their way to the Sophos booth in good time
to avoid disappointment!
Network Access Control
As part of Infosecurity Europe's Education Programme, Sophos's
CTO Richard
Jacobs will be presenting his paper "Network Access Control -
it's really about the endpoint" in the business stream lecture
threatre at 12:40 on 23rd April.
Meanwhile, visitors to the Sophos booth will be able to pick up
a free "NAC for Dummies" guide to help
them better understand the benefits of a Network Access Control
system.
