Conair protects its Apple Macintosh computers with Sophos Endpoint
Security and Control.
IT security and control firm Sophos today announced that Conair,
a world leader in personal hair care and small home appliances, has
renewed its worldwide Sophos Endpoint Security
and Control license for its Macintosh environment for another
two years. Sophos will continue to protect Conair's desktops
against viruses, Trojans, worms, spyware, adware, potentially
unwanted applications (PUAs) and hackers.
"My team is responsible for supporting all Mac computers
globally. In the past, we had tried other anti-virus solutions but
found that managing monthly virus definition updates were a
complete hassle and unreliable - Sophos changed all that," said
Bill Heese, IT Manager of Global Creative Services at Conair. "With
the Sophos Enterprise Console, updating machines is a breeze. We
now have centralized reporting and can create policy changes
without having to touch every computer on the network. Sophos has
allowed us to turn a repetitive task into one that is streamlined
and painless."
"Sophos is committed to providing flexible, reliable and
centrally-managed solutions that are consistent with the needs of
today's businesses," said Dick Faulkner, vice president of North
American sales at Sophos. "We are pleased that Conair has opted to
extend its Sophos subscription."
