Sophos has been shortlisted in the CRN Channel Awards 2007.
Sophos has been shortlisted for the elite 'Security Vendor of
the Year' award, run by Computer Reseller News.
The CRN Awards are one of the channel's most eminent and
respected events. The award recognizes the overall contribution
Sophos has made to develop business opportunities for its channel
partners, with respect to the product range, its channel programme
(including marketing, training and rewards), and the services and
support offered.
"The secret to our success is we understand our channel partners
and what they need to be successful. Obviously we provide the high
quality products, marketing, training and support they need to
develop and maintain long-lasting business relationships with their
customers, but on top we try hard to be flexible to partners
individuals requirements with a goal of being easy to work with,"
said Andrew
Bradshaw, VP UK Sales and Marketing at Sophos. "To this end, we
have significantly enhanced our channel programme, revamping our
certification, training and rewards."
"Sophos and its partners are in a competitive business, and we
have to work hard to stay ahead," continued Bradshaw. "Being
shortlisted by CRN as Security Vendor of the Year tells us we are
on the right track."
Interested parties are invited to support the nomination by
casting their vote for Sophos online. Voting closes on Friday 19
October 2007.
This year has seen a record number of entries for the CRN
Channel Awards. Judges said entries this year were of a very high
quality and "it was very difficult to create each shortlist".
