Sophos's Richard Jacobs discusses how IT security can be improved
through control.
Sophos, a world leader in IT security and control, today
announced that it has published a new podcast
on how businesses can improve their IT security through
control.
In the podcast, Sophos CTO Richard
Jacobs explores the concept of the dissolving network
perimeter, discusses how security solutions are addressing new
challenges, and offers some advice on how IT administrators can
control and manage their users.
"Network administrators are constantly being pushed to open
their networks to allow users to work from home, use mobile
devices, and so on, yet they are expected to maintain the same
high-levels of computer security. It sounded like a virtually
impossible task to me, so I asked Sophos's CTO, Richard Jacobs,
what he thought of this issue," said Carole Theriault, host of
the Sophos podcast. "In this podcast, Richard talks about what
companies can do to make their users happy, reduce the need for
resource, and not compromise on security."
