Sophos, a world leader in IT security and control, has announced
the winners of its Partner Awards 2007, designed to showcase its
top performing UK channel business partners.
The title of 'UK Partner of the Year' was jointly awarded to
Evolution Security Systems and Foursys.
For Foursys, it is the sixth year in a row that the company has
picked up Sophos's top UK honour, which is awarded to partners that
have demonstrated a dedication to building advantageous, successful
and profitable relationships, both with customers and the Sophos
sales team.
In addition to 'UK Partner of the Year' Evolution also picked up
the title of Sophos's 'New Business Growth Partner of the Year',
having achieved above average growth and success in new business
sales.
"We're delighted that our efforts over the past twelve months
have been recognised by Sophos - to win two awards emphasises the
significant effort we've made both in winning new business and
retaining strong customer relationships, and hopefully we can build
on this further in the year ahead," said Stephen Bourne, Sales
Manager at Evolution Security Systems Ltd.

The 'Special Achievement' award, which recognizes outstanding
sales success and commitment to Sophos, was given to Caretower, for
its continued proactive engagement with Sophos around training,
incentives and new business development.
The awards took place on 24 May at the Belfry Hotel, Oxford, as
part of the Sophos UK Partner Conference 2007. This annual event
gives Sophos partners an insight into the company's future plans
and developments, and follows on from the recent launch
of Sophos's new global Partner Program, designed to bolster the
delivery of real and measurable benefits to partners.
"Both Foursys and Evolution have been impressive - their
ambition, their understanding of the market, and of course, their
commitment to Sophos are worthy of praise," said Annie Gay, vice
president, EMEA at Sophos. "The Partner Conference has emphasised
just how like-minded our partners are in their desire to grow their
businesses with us. As our product offering moves into newer areas
such as web security and network access control (NAC),
the opportunities for all our partners will continue to grow. All I
can say is watch this space!"
