Sophos has launched its new global partner program.
Sophos, a world leader in IT security and control, has today
announced the launch of its new global Partner Program. The new
program is designed to bolster the delivery of real and measurable
benefits to Sophos's Partners, reward value exchange between Sophos
and its partners, as well as offer flexible ways of earning revenue
margin.
The Sophos Partner Program brings with it a global consolidation
of partners into three tiers, enabling Sophos to deliver valuable
resources on a global level, backed up by first-rate localized
support. The status of existing partners will be transferred to one
of the new partner levels - Platinum, Gold, Silver. In addition,
Sophos has also adopted a 100
percent channel strategy in North America.
"Sophos has emerged as a major security vendor throughout the
world offering an alternative to Symantec and McAfee in enterprise
and SMB markets. With increased investment and commitment, our
partner program now offers best in class support and value to our
partners" said Peter
Norman, VP of strategy, Sophos. "Market leading products in hot
areas like NAC and web security are opening customers' doors, and
we've got a remarkably simple new partner program which will help
the best partners make the most of these opportunities."
The program allows Partners to take control of how they engage
with Sophos, based on their own business needs. Partners will be
given the opportunity to work closely with dedicated Sophos account
managers, and enjoy benefits such as the distribution of high
quality leads, marketing support and extensive training
programs.
"We welcome Sophos's commitment to providing the resources and
unique programs that help partners like Softchoice grow their
business," said Steve Leslie, Sr. Vice President of Sales and
Marketing for Softchoice. "By offering deal and lead registration,
protection of margins and having a strong account management team
in place, partners can concentrate on the customer and less on the
logistics and backend of the business - that is paramount."
"Choosing providers is more than just selecting top technology.
I look for partners that give Insight Enterprises an opportunity to
excel," said Steve Gagliano, Vice President of Software Product
Management, Insight North America. "Knowing Sophos's past
commitment to our mutual success, I am looking forward to the
benefits available to us through the new program."
