Sophos expert Graham Cluley is addressing a meeting of the ISSA about malware threats
Sophos, a world leader in IT security, today announced that Graham Cluley, senior technology consultant for Sophos, will be addressing the Information Systems Security Association (ISSA) on the subject of malware threats at its UK chapter meeting.
Cluley will be presenting a paper on the impact viruses, spyware and spam are having on businesses around the world, and the growing convergence between virus writers and spammers.
The meeting, taking place at the London offices of Deloitte on 18 December, is an invitation-only event tailored to address the current and future malware challenges for IT security professionals, and also to present useful tips for strategic and best practice procedures.
"Meetings like this are important as it helps educate ISSA's members about the very latest security issues, and allows security vendors like Sophos to receive feedback from system administrators on the front line against malware," said Cluley. "Sophos is proud to be a sponsor of the ISSA, and welcomes initiatives like this event to raise awareness of the latest security threats and how to counter them."
