Vancouver, BC/Boston, MA - Sophos, a world leader in integrated threat management solutions, today announced that Maclean's, Canada's distinguished national newsweekly magazine, has selected Sophos for its "Canada's Top 100 Employers" listing for the second year in a row. Sophos has also been chosen as one of British Columbia's "Top 30 Employers for 2007." Last year the company was selected for the province's "Top 20 Employers" list.

Maclean's editorial team reviewed the recruitment histories of over 60,000 employers across Canada and identified 10,000 employers across the nation who fit the application requirements and of that 10,000 more than 1,500 employers took part in the Top 100 application process. The resulting list of 100 is a group of outstanding employers that lead their industries in attracting and retaining the highest quality employees.

Sophos was recognized for an excellent benefits package that, among other things, offers enrollment in the company's bonus program, a matching Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP), and participation in Sophos's share option plan. Sophos was also acknowledged for a superior training and development program. Expanding and honing the current knowledge and skills of its employees is a main focus for the organization. Therefore, the company offers comprehensive orientation programs, in-depth product training, external training opportunities and even an in-house Toastmasters class to help its staff stay at the top of their game.
