Sophos nominated for "Business Software Supplier of the Year" in the Computing Awards for Excellence
Sophos today announced that it has been nominated for "Business
Software Supplier of the Year" in the Computing Awards for
Excellence 2005. The nomination follows a long history of the
company and its products receiving awards for quality and
excellence.
"We are delighted to have been nominated in the Computing Awards
for Excellence," said Graham Cluley, head of
corporate communications for Sophos. "Sophos is recognized as the
natural choice for businesses looking for industrial strength
protection against viruses, spyware, spam and email policy
abuse."
Separately, Sophos's UK PR agency Johnson King has been
shortlisted as a finalist for "IT PR Agency of the Year" at the
same awards.
Earlier this year Sophos with Johnson King won Best UK PR
Campaign at the SABRE (Superior Achievement in Branding and
Recognition) awards for "Operation Can Spam", ranking higher than
campaigns run by the likes of Coca-Cola and Glaxo SmithKline.
Members of the public are invited to vote for the award winners
at www.computingawards.net.
The winners of the Computing Awards for Excellence 2005 will be
announced at an awards ceremony held in London on 16 November.
