Sophos CTO to speak at RSA 2005 Conference

Lynnfield, MA - Sophos, a global leader in anti-virus, anti-spam and policy-based network security, today announced that Richard Jacobs, Chief Technology Officer, will deliver a presentation at RSA 2005, titled "The unified approach to malware, spam protection and beyond". Jacobs' presentation will discuss the following topics:

  • The increased convergence of viruses and spam and how organizations must move to more integrated solutions that deal with the variety and complexity of today's rapidly evolving threats

  • How organizations need to think of security as a process, not just a set of products by incorporating policies and technologies wherever they can be most effective

  • The unified approach to securing the network - Where common practice for organizations to deliberately use products from different vendors at different tiers, this session will advocate the necessity of a unified approach
