"Messaging security threats - such as viruses, spam and phishing
attacks - have evolved considerably, congesting networks and
impacting productivity," said Gregg Mastoras, senior security
analyst at Sophos, Inc. "Unprotected businesses have felt the pain,
and are responding with leading edge technologies - helping them to
implement policies and best practices to protect against emerging
threats,"
"There is now a constant need to enforce spam filtering and
sender authentication, monitor inbound and outbound email, comply
with regulatory requirements, and block high-risk email attachments
to protect against the rapid spread of viruses," continued
Mastoras. "PureMessage addresses all of these needs and we are very
excited to submit PureMessage for both SC Magazine Readers Trust
Awards."
Voting ends December 3, 2004. Finalists in the Reader Trust
Awards will be announced 20th December 2004. The winners will be
announced at the SC Magazine Global Awards ceremony and gala dinner
at the RSA Conference in the Moscone Center in San Francisco on
February 16, 2005.
