Croatia. |
Sophos PureMessage has been rated highly in a comparative test
of Microsoft Exchange anti-spam solutions, conducted in the latest
edition of Mreza, Croatia's top computer magazine.
Mreza praised Sophos PureMessage for achieving exceptionally
high results in tests conducted for its November 2004 issue,
outperforming a number of competing products.
Independent tests conducted by Mreza showed Sophos PureMessage
to be amongst the best products tested in detecting spam email,
stopping over 95% of all spam. The review also commended Sophos
PureMessage for its low false positive rate - a feature rated
highly by Mreza.
"The performance of product was high and the PureMessage
detection was rated amongst the best in the test. Besides very high
spam detection rates, the false positive rate was very low, a
feature that we rate highly since companies may cope with a few
false negatives but would get very annoyed with false positive
detection," said the review.
Sophos PureMessage supports Linux,
Sun Solaris SPARC, HP-UX, FreeBSD, AIX on RISC, Windows
2000/2003/XP Professional, Exchange 2000/2003 and Microsoft IIS
systems. A small business
version is also available.
