Sophos "Commended" for exports at International Business Awards
Sophos, a world leader in anti-virus and anti-spam protection
for businesses, has been "Commended" at the International Business
Awards, revealed in London on 10 November.
Sophos was recognised in the category of Corporate Exporter of
the Year (for companies with over £25 million turnover).
"For companies to successfully compete in today's business
environment, it is necessary to embrace and develop overseas
markets," said John Geddes, commercial director for DHL Express who
sponsored the awards. "These awards give us the opportunity to
celebrate international business success stories in the UK and to
promote the exceptional quality of British companies and their
employees around the world, highlighting the vital contribution
that they make to the global and UK economies."
Recognition at the International Business Awards is just the
latest example of a long line of successes for Sophos, whose
anti-virus and anti-spam products are used by millions of business
users worldwide.
