Sophos nominated for Channel Awards 2004
Sophos, a world leader in protecting businesses against viruses
and spam, has been nominated for this year's UK Channel Awards, run
by Computer Reseller News.
The awards recognise excellence in a range of specialist
categories including Security and Data Networking. This year the
categories have been expanded and a new judging system put in place
to show the best representation of quality in the awards' nominees
and winners.
Sophos has been shortlisted for the Security Vendor award - one
of the most keenly contested categories in the competition.
"We're delighted that Sophos has been nominated for this award.
This truly reflects the high regard in which Sophos is viewed by
both channel partners and customers," said Carole Theriault, security
consultant at Sophos. "Our channel partners have learnt to expect
the very highest quality from Sophos - both in the reliability of
our products and in the way we do business."
The winners of the awards will be announced on 17 November at
Battersea Park, London. 1,200 guests are expected to attend the
awards ceremony.
