| Wendy Dean has been appointed VP of Engineering

Sophos, a world leader in protecting businesses against viruses
and spam, has appointed Wendy Dean as Vice President of
Engineering. Based at the company's headquarters near Oxford, UK,
Dean will lead the company's multi-site development teams, ensuring
Sophos continues to deliver first-class security solutions to its
worldwide customer base.
"Wendy brings to Sophos the depth of knowledge critical to the

engineering teams dedicated to designing complex products on

During her distinguished career, Dean has held senior technology
and engineering positions with market-leading IT companies where
she gained expertise in managing complex and international
development projects. Dean joins Sophos after five years as
Engineering Director for Sun Microsystems.
