Appointment boosts strategic marketing drive
Sophos, a world leader in anti-virus solutions for businesses,
has announced the appointment of Roshantha Pillay as Marketing
Manager, Australia and New Zealand, based in Sydney.
Ms Pillay reports directly to Rob Forsyth who joined Sophos in
late-2001 as Regional Sales Director and was last month promoted to
the role of Managing Director, Australia and New Zealand.
As Marketing Manager, Roshantha Pillay assumes responsibility
for the development and execution of a comprehensive range of
marketing strategies in support of the company's continued rapid
growth in this market.
Increasingly, her focus will be on supporting local partners as
part of Sophos's drive to deepen its market penetration and volume
sales through its reseller channel.

Before joining Sophos, Ms Pillay spent two-and-a-half years as
head of marketing for Aspect Communications Australasia. In all,
she has held key IT marketing positions for some 10 years in both
Australia and the UK.
