New version of Enterprise Manager available
Sophos has released an improved version of Enterprise Manager.
Enterprise Manager is a powerful tool allowing fully-automated
web-based installation and update of Sophos software across a
network and even to remote users.
Version 1.02 of Enterprise Manager addresses a known shortcoming
in earlier versions of the product. Customised packages are now
republished correctly for downloading by child libraries.
Previously, error messages were generated and downloading was
unsuccessful.
Only customers who have a need to publish customised packages
for use by child libraries need to update to this new version of
Enterprise Manager. To benefit from the improvement it is necessary
to uninstall and reinstall Enterprise Manager. Instructions on how
to do this are detailed in sections 13 and 14 of the Enterprise
Manager installation guide.
