Sophos sponsors Virus Bulletin conference

Sophos announced today that it is a corporate sponsor of VB2002,
the 12th Annual Virus Bulletin Conference, to be held in New
Orleans, Louisiana (Sept 26 - 27 2002).
VB2002 is the only international event which specifically
addresses the threat from computer viruses and features corporate
and technical presentations in two parallel tracks. The conference
attracts over 400 delegates and provides an opportunity for
corporate users to discuss current threats and OS vulnerabilities
with the industry's leading authorities.
Graham Cluley, senior technology consultant for Sophos
Anti-Virus, will present his paper "E-bugs: should anti-virus
products detect them?", discussing the issues surrounding
intelligence agencies' use of viruses and backdoor Trojan horses to
counter terrorism and crime.
If you would like more details about the conference please visit
the Virus Bulletin website.
