Federal Computer Week tests Sophos Anti-Virus
Sophos's anti-virus solutions have scored highly in a comparative test published by Federal Computer Week in its 5 August 2002 edition.
Federal Computer Week examined Sophos Anti-Virus, Sophos's email gateway solution MailMonitor and Sophos's new powerful administration tool, Enterprise Manager.
Sophos was praised for its wide desktop coverage and ease-of-use as it outperformed solutions from Network Associates and Symantec,
Federal Computer Week tested Sophos MailMonitor for SMTP against a number of viruses concluding: "The Sophos technology worked wonderfully in our test environments and trapped every single virus we threw in its way."
