Network News recommends Sophos Anti-Virus

Network News

Sophos, a world leader in corporate anti-virus protection, today announced that its flagship product, Sophos Anti-Virus, has won the Network News "Recommended Product" award in a comparative anti-virus test conducted by VNU European Labs, Europe's largest IT testing labs, for Network News magazine.

In the tests, published in the 30 January 2002 edition of Network News, Sophos Anti-Virus beat off competition from Panda Software, F-Secure, Trend Micro, Computer Associates and Kaspersky Labs to secure the "Recommended" award.

Network News praised Sophos Anti-Virus's high virus detection rate, ease of use, value for money and powerful management capabilities. In summing up they wrote: "Once you have set Sophos Anti-Virus up, this system practically runs itself."
