Bin Laden in China?

Sophos has received queries from customers asking about a "Bin Laden" virus following reports from China's official media of a new virus spreading across the country.

Sophos Anti-Virus issued protection against the virus, correctly known as W32/Toal-A, on 25 October 2001 and customers who have kept their anti-virus software up-to-date and practised safe computing should have nothing to fear.

At the time of writing Sophos has not received any reports of the virus from the wild.
