Sophos experts address Virus Bulletin conference

Sophos today announced that three of its authorities on the anti-virus industry will be addressing the Virus Bulletin conference being held 27-28 September 2001, at the Hilton Prague, Czech Republic.

Richard Wang and Philip Hannay, researchers in Sophos's high tech virus analysis laboratory, will present "MSIL For the .NET Framework: The Next Battleground?" on 27 September at 3:40pm, investigating the potential virus attacks and security risks associated with Microsoft's .NET technology.

Graham Cluley, head of corporate communications and senior technology consultant, will present "Trust No One" on 28 September at 3:40pm. This presentation discusses the rise of the virus pseudo-expert, the media's responsibility in presenting a truthful image of the virus threat, and how companies can best acquire sensible advice on how to deal with malicious code.
