
Sophos, a world leader in corporate anti-virus protection, today announced that its flagship product, Sophos Anti-Virus, has been awarded "Best Performer" in a comparative anti-virus test published by PC Plus magazine.
In the test, published in the June 2001 edition of PC Plus, Sophos Anti-Virus out-performed McAfee VirusScan, Norton AntiVirus 2001, AVG 6.0 and PC-Cillin 2000 to scoop the award for "Best Performer", detecting all the viruses in the test.
PC Plus praised Sophos Anti-Virus describing it as offering "a superb solution to end users and network administrators".
