Sophos announces opening of Munich office
Sophos, the world's leading developer of corporate anti-virus
protection, has announced it will be opening a new branch office in
Munich, Germany on 1 November 2000 to better support its growing
customer base in Bavaria. This office complements the established
headquarters for Sophos's German operations in Nieder-Olm, near
Frankfurt.
Gernot Hacker, who has more than 10 year's experience in the IT
industry, has been appointed team leader of the new Munich
office.
"The establishment of our new branch office in Munich enables us
to provide even better support and service to our increasing number
of corporate customers in Bavaria," explained Graham Cluley, head
of corporate communications for Sophos Anti-Virus. "This
development further establishes Sophos as the anti-virus vendor
best placed to protect German businesses from virus attack".
