Be sure not to copy the ISO image file directly to the disc as this will not create a bootable re-imaging disc. Then follow these steps: - Power-off the ASG device - Plug a VGA monitor to the VGA port (optional). This will help monitor the installation process. If the ASG doesn't have a VGA port, the installation process can be monitored using the LCD panel. - Plug in the USB-CD-ROM drive (with the burned CD in the drive) (For ASG 320 it is important to use the USB port at the front) - Power-on the ASG device - Make sure that "Boot from USB-CDROM" in bios is on first position (default on ASGs) - Once the installer has started, it will begin to re-image the ASG. No questions will be asked by the installer. - After installation, the ASG starts to beep until it is switched off. - Success: 1 beep, 1 second sleep, repeated until switched off - Failure: 3 short beeps, 2 seconds sleep, repeated until switched off - Once the installation has completed, the following values will be set: Keyboard Layout: English(USA) Area: Europe/Berlin Date/Time: Bios setting Admin interface: eth0 Default IP Address: 192.168.0.1 Default Netmask: 255.255.255.0 Default Gateway: none.
