Steve Munford is Non-Executive Chairman at Sophos. He served as Sophos’ CEO from 2006 to 2012 and, during that time, led the company through a period of dramatic growth, more than tripling bookings. Prior to his role as CEO, Steve served as President of Sophos for North America and then became Chief Operating Officer, responsible for the day-to-day running of the company and its senior management team. Previously, he was President of ActiveState before its acquisition by Sophos in 2003. Under his leadership, ActiveState established itself as a global leader in email security software.
Steve has a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Western Ontario and has an MBA from Queen's University, Ontario.
