Malte Pollmann joined Sophos in 2009 as Vice President of Business Development and General Manager of LIMS/HSM. Prior to this he was Business Unit Manager and later a Member of the Board at Utimaco, responsible for product management and business development.
Previously he was product director and business unit leader at Lycos Europe NV (a Bertelsmann company) based in Germany and Paris. There he was responsible for the European product and marketing management and drove the post-merger integration of French companies Multimania and Caramail SA.
With a master’s degree in physics from the Universities Paderborn and Kaiserslautern in Germany, Malte also received a general management education at INSEAD in Fountainbleau, France.
In parallel to his work at Sophos and Utimaco, he also serves on the supervisory board of the International School of IT-Security, isits AG, Bochum.
