This knowledge base article provides an overview of hardware that has been tested with SafeGuard Device Encryption.
Please note:
This information does not represent a black/white list - there is no such list!
The machines that are mentioned in the list below and within this item are the result of tests with SafeGuard Device Encryption by our Quality Assurance team, partners or customers, whether successful or not. This does not mean that the installation of SafeGuard Device Encryption on a machine that is not on that list will fail!
The tested devices can be found in the attached spreadsheet 107785_SGN tested hardware overview.xls. The compatibility of models may change with every release of SafeGuard Device Encryption.
Hint:
If an unwanted behavior is encountered at POA level Sophos recommends to perform a BIOS update. If the behavior remains, most issues can be fixed using one of the Hotkey combinations described in the below mentioned knowledgebase article.
