Answer

The following five registry keys can be used to make SafeGuard Easy visible/invisible to the user of the computer.

Hive: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
Key: Software\Utimaco\SGLogon
Value Name: HideLogon
Value Type: REG_DWORD
Value: 0 The Utimaco Logon Dialog will be displayed
1 The Logon Dialog of the original GINA will be displayed

Hive: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
Key: Software\Utimaco\SGLogon
Value Name: SGBegin
Value Type: REG_DWORD
Value: 0 The “Welcome” Dialog of the original GINA will be displayed
1 The Utimaco “Welcome” Dialog will be displayed

Hive: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
Key: Software\Utimaco\SGLogon
Value Name: ShowLockDialog
Value Type: REG_DWORD
Value: 0 The “Computer Locked” Dialog of the original GINA will be displayed
1 The Utimaco “Computer Locked” Dialog will be displayed.

Hive: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
Key: Software\Utimaco\SGLogon
Value Name: SGPlugin
Value Type: REG_DWORD
Value: 0 The Utimaco SafeGuard Plug-In will not be displayed
1 The Utimaco Safeware Plug-In will be displayed

Hive: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
Key: Software\Utimaco\Sgeasy
Value Name: SgeLogoBackGnd
Value Type: REG_DWORD
Value: 0 No background bitmap is displayed
1 The Utimaco background bitmap is displayed.
