Threat Protection training course

With over 7000 new computer viruses every month, keeping anti-virus software up to date has never been so important. Despite this, the average computer user is usually unaware their workstation has been infected until they start to suffer the consequences of an attack from a virus, worm or Trojan horse.

This one-day, practical anti-virus workshop gives delegates an opportunity to gain hands-on experience of viruses in a supervised, controlled environment. It also presents practical methods to reduce and contain virus infections within corporate environments. The course begins with a comprehensive introduction to viruses and anti-virus warfare, while later sessions provide a more detailed look at the technology and underlying issues. Continuously updated to reflect changes in virus and anti-virus techniques, the course is now in its twelfth year.

This course will be beneficial for anyone involved with IT security.
