Why you should attend
This course is designed for anyone who has had exposure to Sophos NAC Advanced and wishes to increase their technical understanding of the product. This hands-on course equips students with knowledge of the component parts of Sophos NAC. It explores best practice for network deployment, focusing on system configuration and troubleshooting.
Note: This course is focused on running Sophos NAC on a Windows network.

Sophos NAC features agent enforcement, DHCP enforcement and RADIUS enforcement - all of which are managed from the NAC console.
Sophos NAC provides complex networks with a method of identifying non-compliance of endpoints with a defined corporate policy and taking appropriate action. It can be centrally installed, configured and monitored across the network and anti-virus definitions and patch information are updated automatically. |

- Deployment of Sophos NAC Advanced management console
- Deployment of Sophos NAC Advanced using group policy
- Advanced administration tasks within Sophos NAC Advanced management console
- Designing a compliance policy to include security applications, patching, custom applications and appropriate remediation actions
- Designing an enforcement policy to include agent quarantine, DHCP quarantine and RADIUS quarantine
- General troubleshooting

- Install the product in a complex environment
- Prepare recommendations around deployment and best practice in a complex environment
- Resolve issues of medium to moderate complexity
- Identify reasoning behind platform requirements and how to overcome shortfalls in infrastructure
- Describe all significant features of the product, including 'power user/admin features'
- Perform detailed ad-hoc customization to meet requirements
- Identify how to best capture information on complex problems, communicate effectively for resolution and manage the resolution path
