A Sunday with a view
Weâve had a thankfully quiet Sunday here in SophosLabs Australia. Our lab overlooks the beautiful Sydney Harbor, and the view was made all the more spectacular by the fantastically clear, sunny day provided to us on the first day of Spring. As my colleagues in the Northern Hemisphere move into what looks to be a chilly Winter, I suspect that more than a few will find a compelling reason to come visit.
While the majority of people are out enjoying their weekends, we continue to see plenty of ecard spam messages and related malware variants come through our labs. To me, campaigns such as this always emphasizes the fact that security is a 24×7 threat, and does not take weekends off. Encouragingly though, this threat didnât interrupt our day, as we continued to proactively detect and defend against this latest attack on all fronts.
