Friday the 13th
We all have seen spam before, even in different languages, but how about the following one, spam in text emoticons:
Yes, nothing more and nothing less, this is what we are seeing today on Friday, the 13th. The spammers were certainly not trying to have fun there–it is just one of those “broken campaigns”, as we call it here in SophosLabs, where the intended spam messages and/or website URL were not delivered properly at all.
And that’s it. Friday the 13th doesn’t seem to be a lucky for the spammers either.
