Spammer TicketMaster
With the 2008 European Soccer Championships taking place from June 7 to June 29, 2008, in Switzerland, spammers are taking advantage of it due to the limited availability of game tickets. Today on one of our European spam feeds, we are starting to see this type of spam pouring in. They ask you to call the listed phone numbers in Austria and promise to buy the game tickets off you at a higher price than originally paid.
There are two reasons for doing that. One, the spammers will resell your tickets for a higher profit, or, they will scam you into releasing your credit card and/or bank information for fraud or identity theft purposes.
