Beta test Sophos for Microsoft SharePoint
Kim, one of the awfully nice people who live on the floor above me running the beta programs for upcoming versions of Sophos products, collared me the other day.
She wanted to know if I would mind putting something on the Clu-blog, advertising the fact that we were looking for beta testers for our forthcoming product to protect Microsoft Sharepoint users.
Of course, because SharePoint allows your users to share information and work together it can also be a vector for malware infection and inappropriate content - if it's not properly secured.
Kim wanted me to plug that the beta of Sophos for Microsoft SharePoint provides proactive, real-time protection of your collaborative workspace, including protection against known and unknown malware, adware, spyware and zero-day threats.
According to Kim, it can also isolate naughty stuff and unwanted file types, keeping everything squeaky clean.
But you're probably not interested in all that marketing guff, are you? You're probably just gagging to get your paws on the beta, right? Especially when you hear that Kim is giving away free Amazon gift vouchers for the first umpteen people to give feedback on the product.
So, here's a subtle link that you can use to apply for the beta program:
If you're interested just fill in the form and Kim will contact you with further details.
